The Way of Righteousness

“Even if a log soaks a long time in water, it will never become a crocodile” – Wolof Proverb. Nor does being religious make a person righteous. Religious rituals and good deeds make people feel and appear righteous, but they do not make them righteous before God

The way of righteousness is an Arabic and Qafar af translation of 100 15-minute radio programs originally written in the Wolof language for the Muslims of Senegal, West Africa. Beginning with the Torah of Moses, this book journeys through the writings of the prophets to view God’s unalterable purpose throughout human history and to hear God’s timeless answer to a 4,000-year-old question:

“How can a man be righteous before God?”- the Prophet Job

Muslims believe that God has revealed His will through four holy books (Torah, Psalms, Gospel and Qur’an) Yet few Muslims ever have opportunity to hear and understand God’s Good News according to the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel. These 100 concise lessons offer that opportunity!

“In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death” – Proverbs 12:28
